If you are in Sorrento in winter, here are some walking tips for you winter and things to see.
Who said that holidays are beautiful only in summer?

At sea all year round!

As we said here, there are some brave people who can swim even in winter.
This happens on the beach of Meta di Sorrento and it is not a single thing destined for ironmen! Of course there is a need for a good dose of strength but the particular position of the Meta beach, protected on the right and left by the coast means that we never got particularly cold wind and it is for the most part of the sunny day even in winter thus making it possible to do the real swim in Sorrento even in winter.

The museums of Sorrento

Sorrento is not only a fun destination but has always been one of destinations preferred by the Grand Tour travelers who arrived here attracted by beauty of its panoramas and its history.
Part of this story is contained in the Museum Correale di Terranova which collects Roman and medieval artefacts, up to and including canvases and 13th century artifacts. Having been born as a family summer residence Correale, the museum also has a lush garden where crossing an avenue propped with plane trees you get to the belvedere of the villa directly overlooking the Gulf of Naples.
And do you know that you can also get married at the Correale Museum?
Another museum to visit is certainly the Bottega della Tarsia Lignea Museum, in historic center of Sorrento, entirely dedicated to Sorrento craftsmanship through a path that passes through objects and furnishings ranging from 400 to 800

Winter trekking in Sorrento

The weather is winter in Sorrento too, it’s true, but fortunately in our area, the temperatures never drop below 0 and in any case the average always hovers around 13 degrees. Then on sunny days even in winter it is possible to do some nature walk or just leave the center behind walk on foot towards Massa Lubrense, keeping the sea on the right.
Or you can always pay a visit to the mills and lemon groves on the hills and do a taste of Sorrento oil or limoncello or why not, join also a course of kitchen.
